Day 1
Arrive in Melbourne, a city offering a myriad of attractions, arts and culture, entertainment, culinary experience, gardens and parks, shopping and sporting spectaculars. Many attractions easily accessible via the famous Melbourne trams.
Must see sites and stops:
- Familiarise yourself with the city by travelling aboard the free city circle tram
- Admire a 360 degree view of Melbourne from the Rialto Observation Deck
- Browse through the popular department stores of Melbourne Central
- Enjoy a live theatre, opera, symphony or ballet at the Victorian Arts Centre or see the latest musical event
- Visit Chinatown in Little Bourke Street
- Travel and dine in style in Melbourne's many celebrated restaurants
Day 2
Join a day tour to the Yarra Valley wineries and ride aboard a stream train through the scenic Dandenong Ranges.
Must see sites and stops:
- Join a tour to Philip Island to view famous fairy penguins
- Test your skill at the gaming tables of the Crown Casino
Day 3
Allow plenty of time to join a coach tour to travel along the Great Ocean Road passing through the historic Shipwreak Coast.

- View the spectacular "Twelve Apostles" coastal rock formations
Day 4
Drive inland to The Goldfields - wander the streets of Ballarat.
Must see sites and stops:
- Admire the historic Victorian style buildings
- Visit "Sovereign Hill" a living museum recreating Victoria's gold rush era
- Enjoy an evening performance of "Blood on the Southern Cross" reenacting the historical story of the Euraka uprising in Ballarat
Day 5
Relax in a natural mineral spa at the Hepburn Springs Complex and admire the historic charm of Daylesford.
Must see sites and stops:
- Tour the beautifully restored Convent Gallery
- Taste the sparkling wines of Macedon Range's Hanging Rock Winery
- Visit the unique Hanging Rock lava formation - made famous by Joan Lindsay's mystery novel "Picnic at Hanging Rock"
Day 6
The Goldfield's township of Bendigo also offers many interesting attractions.
Must see sites and stops:
- Check out one of Australia’s oldest ceramic manufacturers, The Bendigo Pottery
- Visit the Golden Dragon Museum
- See the Central Deborah Goldmine and put a hard hat on to explore the mines
Day 7
Echuca - a historical riverside township located along the Murray River.
Must see sites and stops:
- Cruise down the Murray River aboard a majestic paddle-steamer
- Visit Sharps Magic Movie House and Penny Arcade, World in Wax and Red Gum Works
