About Oceana Pass

New Zealand Accommodation Pass

The Oceana Resorts & Apartments pass programme is a convenient, flexible and cost effective way to travel throughout New Zealand.

The properties in the Oceana pass programme have been carefully selected for their convenient locations, quality facilities and high standards of personalised service.

Why Use Oceana Pass?

The Oceana pass is available for purchase from your travel agent and represents a significant overall saving on published rates.  

You have the choice of pre-booking your entire New Zealand itinerary through your travel agent  or you can purchase open-dated vouchers and use the free ‘book ahead’ service via our Central Reservations Office. 

Oceana Resorts & Apartments strongly recommends you to pre-book your accommodation during the peak season from October through to March.

Open-dated vouchers do not ensure availability, so if you have elected to travel on open-dated vouchers, it is strongly recommended that you plan an itinerary and phone ahead to reserve accommodation.  There are key locations throughout New Zealand where rooms are at a premium and to avoid disappointment we recommend you to pre-book where possible.

Regardless of whether you have a pre-booked itinerary or are travelling on open dated vouchers, on arrival in New Zealand our Central Reservations office is available toll free for assistance.

Each Property in the Oceana pass programme have toll free reservation numbers listed and can offer a free book ahead service.

Easy to Use Voucher System

There are no minimum or maximum night restrictions, simply use one voucher per night at your choice of Apartment.

Any unused vouchers should be taken back to the place of purchase. Check with your travel agent prior to departure on the refund policies, normally there is an administration fee charged and refunds can only be processed on return of the original voucher.

Guaranteed Bookings

Pre-booked reservations made through your travel agent prior to arrival in New Zealand will be guaranteed and a room will be held for you.

If travelling on open dated vouchers and making reservations after your arrival in New Zealand, you will be required to quote your credit card number to guarantee your reservation. All major credit cards are accepted.

Children

Children are welcome at all Oceana properties and the first child  under 2 years of age sharing with adults and using existing bedding is free of charge. The extra person rate applies to the second child.  Children under 2 yrs requesting a cot or a bed will incur an extra person charge.

The Oceana Pass Categories of I, II or III

For your convenience each property listed in the Oceana pass directory is categorised according to our easy to use Oceana grading system of Level I, Level II or Level III.

Upgrade Options

If you wish to upgrade your standard of accommodation after arrival in New Zealand you may do so by using the voucher you are holding and paying the following retail surcharges;

Please note these surcharges are per room, per night and payable direct to the property upon check in;

Oceana I – Oceana II Pass  $67.50 incl GST
Oceana I – Oceana III Pass  $135.00 incl GST
Oceana II – Oceana III Pass $67.50 incl GST

These surcharges are in New Zealand dollars and include Government Goods and Services Tax (GST), currently 12.5%.

Please note that there is no refund if you stay in a property of a lower category than the value of the voucher.
The room type available at each Apartment on the applicable Oceana pass level is listed in the directory. If a higher room category is required, an additional charge is payable direct at the property.

Check In and Check Out Times

Check in is 2.00pm on the day of arrival with check out time generally 10.00am. For any variations, please contact the property direct.

Cancellation Policies

Cancellations can be made either direct with the property or via our toll free Central Reservations Office - in either case they must reach the property prior to 4.00pm, 24 hours before the date of stay.

Failure to cancel your reservation 24 hours before the date of stay will result in full cancellation charges.
